Interested in Joining Our Board of Directors
Functional Foundations Pediatric Services is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to serve on our volunteer Board of Directors. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with complex medical and developmental needs, we rely on the guidance and leadership of a committed board to help us grow our impact and stay true to our mission.
We welcome board members from diverse backgrounds, including (but not limited to) healthcare, education, law, finance, nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and lived experience with disability. We are looking for volunteers with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute your time and talents in service of our mission.
As a board member, you will:

Help guide the strategic direction of the organization

Meet Our Board
Rilke Klingsporn
Rilke is an educator and parent of an amazing child with complex medical needs. She has had a long career in public education, and is currently the Director of Special Programs for Fern Ridge School District. Rilke joined the Fun.Found board because she is passionate about providing comprehensive services for all children and building a community of inclusion, access, and collaborative support.
Madeline Ahearn​, President
Maddy is a parent and educator who cares about creating genuinely inclusive spaces for every child and family to thrive. For the past 20 years she has worked as a math teacher, math teacher educator and is currently an administrator in the School Improvement department at the Lane Education Service District. She was thrilled to join the Fun.Found board last year because their holistic approach to therapies is congruent to her education philosophy and because the community is just pure joy!
Gary Campbell, Treasurer
Gary has been working to support children in the public education system for more than 20 years - first in the classroom, then through statewide programming, and currently he is supporting school districts throughout Lane County. He is passionate about ensuring that every child has the support that they need to find success and that the adults who support children listen to and understand the needs of each individual child. He joined the Fun Found board in order to help ensure the growth and stability of the organization going into the future, so that it can continue to provide the amazing services it delivers to the children and families of our community.
Ami Bear, Secretary
Ami is a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician working with children in Lane County and throughout Oregon. Through her work she has seen the immense need for comprehensive services for children with complex needs. She was drawn to the Fun.Found board because she values the collaborative, community oriented, and child and family focused strength based approach Fun.Found brings to each individual.
